Ocean Saltiness Provides Early Warning System for Climate Change

A group of scientists predicted that the saltiness of the waters of the southern hemisphere oceans around South Africa and New Zealand could serve as an early indicator of climate change. Major increases or decreases in the saltiness could foretell instances of climate change 10 to 20 years down the line.
